Michael G. Thomson, President, CEO & Director

Michael Thomson's primary responsibilities are to act as President and Chief Executive Officer and to provide overall leadership and direction to Metropolitan and its management. He has over twenty five years of experience in the securities industry, as an entrepreneur, investment banker, regulator (VSE) and lawyer. Mr. Thomson founded Metropolitan in July of 2007 and was instrumental in raising seed capital for the venture, negotiating Metropolitan's option agreement with Argentine Frontier Resources Inc. ("AFRI") and Salta Exploraciones S.A. ("SESA"), and organizing and managing Metropolitan's IPO. In 2005, Mr. Thomson was the promoter and founder of Bonita Capital Corporation, a TSX.V listed company prior to the acquisition of a control position by Bolnisi Gold NL (an Australian public company) to form Palmarejo Silver and Gold Corporation. Palmarejo, in turn, was acquired by Coeur d'Alene Mines in an acquisition originally valued at approximately $1 Billion. Mr. Thomson has been a director or officer of various TSX.V listed companies over the past twelve years. Mr. Thomson is currently a director of Penfold Capital Acquisition Corporation and was responsible for negotiating a proposed Qualifying Transaction pursuant to which Penfold entered into a Business Combination Agreement dated July 22, 2008 with, amongst other persons, PBS Coals Corporation. PBS Coals is a private British Columbia corporation which owns approximately 85% of the equity of the PBS Coals Group of Companies, a privately held group of companies engaged in the mining, processing and sale of primarily metallurgical coal from their properties in West-Central Pennsylvania. The PBS Group has six surface and six underground mines in operation.

 
Douglas F. Good, CFO and Director

Mr. Good has over twenty five years of experience in the securities industry and has an extensive background in providing strategic planning, corporate restructuring, finance and senior management services to a range of companies in the start up and early development stages. He previously worked with Mr. Thomson in the growth and development of HealthCare Capital Corp. which became Sonus Corp., currently one of the largest hearing care providers in North America. Mr. Good was a director and executive Chairman of Redhawk Resources Inc. (TSX.V: RDK) from November, 2007 to October, 2008; a director of Remac Zinc Corp., from February, 2008 to October, 2008; a director, Chairman and President of Rochester Resources Ltd., from November 2005 to October, 2007 where he oversaw the growth and development of that mining company to producer status. Mr. Good's primary responsibilities with Metropolitan are to oversee the financial affairs of the Company and to assist in dealing with investors, financial institutions, and strategic acquisitions and partners.

 
John Boddie, Director

John Boddie's primary responsibilities are to direct management to ensure that legal requirements have been met and proper corporate records have been prepared, approved and maintained and to serve on the Audit Committee. He has over twenty years of experience in the securities industry and is a self-employed consultant to the securities industry in addition to providing litigation support services. Mr. Boddie has provided expert testimony in various high profile securities related cases, both in Canada and the U.S.. John Boddie is a former Vice President of the Vancouver Stock Exchange and its successor, CDNX, where he headed up various departments including Corporate Finance & Listings, Compliance and Marketing. John Boddie has been active in the formation, financing and re-organization of numerous junior and emerging companies in various industry sectors. Mr. Boddie has been involved in various ventures with Mr. Thomson and is a former director of Bonita Capital Corporation and Naples Capital Corp. Presently, Mr. Boddie is a director of Apoka Capital Corp., a Capital Pool Company traded on TSX.V.

 
Joseph Groia, Director

Joseph Groia's primary responsibilities with Metropolitan are to direct management to ensure legal requirements have been met and to serve on the Audit Committee. Mr. Groia has over twenty years of experience in the securities industry. From 1990 to 2000, Joseph Groia worked with Heenan Blakie LLP, a national law firm. He has also acted as head of enforcement for the Ontario Securities Commission. For the past five years, Mr. Groia has been President of Groia and Company Professional Corporation, a Toronto based law firm specializing in the area of securities law and related litigation. Mr. Groia was formerly Corporate Secretary of Bonita Capital Corporation.

 
Bruce Biles, Director

Mr. Biles' primary responsibilities with Metropolitan are to assist management in the area of project management and development and to serve on the Audit Committee.

Bruce Biles is a professional engineer currently serving as the head of Construction and Engineering Services for Integrated Paving Concepts Inc. after serving as the former Vice President of the company from December 11, 2007 to April 23, 2008. Mr. Biles was the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Regal Rock Inc. (RGRK) from August 2005 to August 2007. He has been a director of Aldrin Resources Corp. since August 21, 2006.
