Michael G. Thomson, President & CEO

Michael Thomson's primary responsibilities are to act as President and Chief Executive Officer and to provide overall leadership and direction to Metropolitan and its management. He has over twenty five years of experience in the securities industry, as an entrepreneur, investment banker, regulator (VSE) and lawyer. Mr. Thomson founded Metropolitan in July of 2007 and was instrumental in raising seed capital for the venture, negotiating Metropolitan's option agreement with Argentine Frontier Resources Inc. ("AFRI") and Salta Exploraciones S.A. ("SESA"), and organizing and managing Metropolitan's IPO. In 2005, Mr. Thomson was the promoter and founder of Bonita Capital Corporation, a TSX.V listed company prior to the acquisition of a control position by Bolnisi Gold NL (an Australian public company) to form Palmarejo Silver and Gold Corporation. Palmarejo, in turn, was acquired by Coeur d'Alene Mines in an acquisition originally valued at approximately $1 Billion. Mr. Thomson has been a director or officer of various TSX.V listed companies over the past twelve years. Mr. Thomson is a former director of Penfold Capital Acquisition Corporation and was responsible for negotiating a Qualifying Transaction pursuant to which Penfold entered into a Business Combination Agreement dated July 22, 2008 with, amongst other persons, PBS Coals Corporation. PBS Coals is a private British Columbia corporation which owns approximately 85% of the equity of the PBS Coals Group of Companies, a privately held group of companies engaged in the mining, processing and sale of primarily metallurgical coal from their properties in West-Central Pennsylvania. The PBS Group has six surface and six underground mines in operation.

 
Douglas F. Good, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Good's primary responsibilities with Metropolitan are to oversee the financial affairs of the Company and to assist in dealing with investors, financial institutions, and strategic acquisitions and partners. He has over twenty five years of experience in the securities industry and has an extensive background in providing strategic planning, corporate restructuring, finance and senior management services to a range of companies in the start up and early development stages. He previously worked with Mr. Thomson in the growth and development of HealthCare Capital Corp. which became Sonus Corp., currently one of the largest hearing care providers in North America. Mr. Good was a director and executive Chairman of Redhawk Resources Inc. (TSX.V: RDK) from November, 2007 to October, 2008; a director of Remac Zinc Corp., from February, 2008 to October, 2008; a director, Chairman and President of Rochester Resources Ltd., from November 2005 to October, 2007 where he oversaw the growth and development of that mining company to producer status.

 
Derek G. Thomson, Corporate Secretary

Derek Thomson was the former Vice President of Corporate Communications and a director of Timmins Gold Corp and a director of Silvermex Resources Ltd. from April 2005 to March 2007. Mr. Thomson was a self-employed consultant from October 2004 to April 2005 and was formerly an assistant director in the film industry from 1998 to 2004.


Metropolitan has also engaged Peter A. Christopher, Ph. D., as a mineral exploration consultant.

 
Peter A. Christopher, Consultant

Mr. Christopher's primary responsibilities with the Corporation are to provide geological consulting services to the Corporation through PAC Geological Consulting Inc., of which he is the sole principal, and to assist the Corporation in evaluating the Fruso Property and other exploration ventures. He attained a Ph.D. degree from the University of British Columbia in 1973 and a Masters of Arts from Dartmouth College in 1968. Mr. Christopher is a professional engineer and has been a member of the APEGBC since 1976. In the last five years, Mr. Christpher has been a former director of ESO Uranium Corp. from April 2005 to June 2006 and a former director and President of East Asia Minerals Corporation from August 2003 to March 2005. Currently, he is the President of PAC Geological Consulting Inc., a company that provides geological consulting services to private and public companies.
